“Timaru is very fortunate to have many community playgrounds in the district. Each offers differing levels of play and fun, a few are more suited to older kids, while some suit younger kids. I do feel there is a real need for a playground that better caters for a range of ages and abilities. Caroline Bay is a family favourite and we visit even more now with the addition of the Bike Skills Park. I feel there is an opportunity to upgrade the playground, it would be a real asset for everyone in the Timaru District, and a drawcard for visitors to the region who will see how great Timaru is for families and potentially settle here. The CPlay project is so exciting, we can't wait to play here.”
